Act I · Hospitality operations & systems · UK

One person accountable for the whole stack.

Restaurants, bars, hotels and venues run on systems that rarely talk to each other — and nobody owns the joins. I watch how you actually run, then connect, automate and, where it's needed, build the software around it.

Free first consultation. Then from £150 a day, remote or on site.

Act II · The quiet bleed

The paper. The re-keying. The numbers that never match.

EPOS, bookings, rota, stock, payroll, accounting — five or six subscriptions renewing quietly, none of them talking to the others.

We priced one typical stack from the suppliers' own pages: two quote in pounds, two in euros, one in dollars, and one publishes no price at all. That is why almost nobody adds it up.

Act III · How I work

Fix the operation before the systems.

I'm David Martins. I've run restaurant operations and I build software, so the answer isn't always "buy more software". Sometimes it's changing how the shift runs.

01

Watch a real service

How it actually runs — deliveries, the pass, the close — not how the manual says it should.

02

Fix the process

The problems in the operation get fixed first, before any software touches them.

03

Connect, automate, build

Keep what works, connect what doesn't talk, and build only what doesn't already exist.

Act IV · The journey

I've stood where your team stands.

Act V · What you get

Less admin. More time where it matters.

Automation

The jobs your team does by hand every week — re-keying invoices, chasing numbers, copying between systems — done for them.

Optimising the operation

Where the time and margin leak between deliveries, stock, rota and the till — found by watching, then fixed.

A bespoke product built for you

When the right tool doesn't exist, it gets built around how you work — one login where it makes sense.

Straight answers

Before you ask.

What does a hospitality systems consultant actually do?

I look at how your restaurant, bar, hotel or venue really runs — deliveries, stock, rota, bookings, the till, the back office — find where time and money leak between those systems, fix the process, then connect, automate or build what's missing. What the audit covers.

How much does it cost?

The first consultation is free. After that, work starts from £150 a day, remote or on site, and you get a plain-English plan with the price before anything starts. What your systems cost today.

Do I have to buy new software?

No. Often the right answer is to keep what you have and connect it, or to change how the shift runs. New software is only built when the right tool doesn't already exist.

Do you work with single sites or groups?

Both — independent restaurants, bars and cafés, hotels, and multi-site groups across the UK.

What if the work isn't delivered?

If the agreed output is not delivered, the fee for that piece of work is refunded. No contracts, no hidden fees, no lock-in.

Can I try something free first?

Yes — the free AI skill packs are ready-made tools for hospitality teams, and the consultation costs nothing.
